Johnny & Vanessa's Sneak Peek - Hays, Kansas Wedding Photography
What's better then spending a Saturday shooting a wedding? Shooting one for some good friends! Johnny and Vanessa were married this past Saturday in Hays, Kansas. Unfortunately the weather wasn't as nice as we were hoping for a spring wedding (tons of rain the night before making everything muddy, combined with a cold day Saturday gave us a shorter amount of outdoor shooting time) . The ladies began their morning at J Salon in downtown Hays, where they got all dolled up for the day and the ladies brought some yummy treats to snack on (along with some tasty mimosas). The wedding was held at St. Michaels church, and the reception out in the Unrein building at the fairgrounds where they also chose to have the photo booth set up. It was a great wedding, both from a photographers view, and as a friend attending. It was fun to capture and be a part of their day, along with enjoying some food, dancing and drinks at the reception with other friends and family.
