Robert & Valerie Yates - A wedding sneak peek - Hays, KS Wedding Photography
Another beautiful day this past weekend for a wedding. I traveled up to Hays, Kansas to photograph the union of Robert and Valerie. It was so wonderful to be a part of a day in which two people are so in love. It was especially incredible to see how their family merged together with Valerie's daughter Camryn to become a family of 3 as they even included her in the ceremony, not only as the flower girl but during the sand ceremony. Valerie started her day getting her hair and makeup done at Salon Diva (incredible staff did a wonderful job on all the ladies). The ceremony was held at the United methodist church in Hays, followed by a reception at the VFW. The had some beautiful uplighting they added which really lends to a beautiful backdrop to their photos. Here is a little sneak peek from their day!
Oh and I can't forget to mention they also chose to have our photo booth at their reception. The guests had a great time getting their snap shots with props and everything, and I'm sure Robert and Valerie will have laughs for many years with the scrap book that was created with the photos. Here is one I caught when a few of them were having fun in the booth!
